Schneider, 101, of Flanagan, passed away on Tuesday February 4, 2025, at 6:55 a.m. at his residence.His services will be on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pontiac with a visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Officiating will be Father David Sabel. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Flanagan.Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home of Pontiac is in charge of arrangements.Louis was born on June 8, 1923, in Minonk, to John J. and Rose E. (Hindert) Schneider. He married Dorothy Ann Yordy on June 25, 1947, at Sacred Heart Church in Rutland. She passed away on December 24, 2011.Surviving are sons; Gary (Susan) Schneider, Streator, Chris Schneider, Flanagan, Kevin (Mary) Schneider, Flanagan, Paul (Jean) Schneider, Flanagan, and Steve (Sharon) Schneider, Flanagan; daughters, Gale Watson, Flanagan, Carol (Paul) Frobish, Gardner and Jane (John) Detwiler, Flanagan; 38 grandchildren
