Daniel Eugene RiceMarch 10, 1951 - January 12, 2025Daniel Eugene Rice, 73, of Lexington passed away at his home on Sunday, January 12, 2025.He was born March 10, 1951 to Eugene and Dorothy (Wiese) Rice of Piper City, Ill., the third of nine children. He met and married Norma Lewandowski in Gilman on March 25, 1972 she survives. They had two sons Keith (Tony, of Normal) and Shawn (Cara, of LeRoy).Besides his immediate family, he is survived by five sisters and one brother, Janet DuBroff (Richard, of Normal), Susan Saathoff (Bill, of Wadsworth, Ohio), Ruth Kurtenbach (Steve, of Towanda), Amy Owen (of Bloomington), Nancy Miller (Larry, of Fort Myers, Fla.), and David Rice (Dawn, of Paxton). He is also survived by his grandchildren, August Osborn of Bloomington, and Aiden Osborn, Ash Osborn, Cate Yak, and Ada Blue Rice of LeRoy. He was preceded in death by his parents; as well as two sisters, Carol Ely and Connie Lambert.Mr. Rice was a 1969 graduate of Piper City High School and attended
