Shubert, 98, of Saunemin passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 11:30 a.m., at Evenglow Lodge.Cremation rites will be accorded; a memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 3 p.m., at the Saunemin United Methodist Church, with Pastor Jane Bradford officiating. A visitation was held at the church for one hour prior to the service. Memorials in Don's name may be made to Saunemin United Methodist Church. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Pontiac, is handling the arrangements.He was born January 3, 1926, in Pontiac. He married Marjorie DeGroodt on August 17, 1952. She survives in Pontiac. Also surviving are his children: Gregory (Rebecca Morris) Shubert, Broomfield, Colo., Colette (Greg) Gourley, Carlock, Ill.
