Carstens, age 86, of Flanagan, passed away at 5:34 a.m., on Monday, December 9, 2024, at his residence.A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 10 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Graymont, IL, with Pastor Noah Porzelius officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rooks Creek Cemetery in Graymont.Memorials in Raymond's memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Graymont.Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Raymond was born on November 4, 1938, in Streator, IL, to Delbert and Hazel (Jenkins) Carstens. He married the love of his life, Marilyn (Durre) Carstens on November 10, 1963, at the Minonk Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
