Everett Meister July 9, 1942 - August 13, 2024 FAIRBURY - Everett Meister, 82, of Fairbury, passed away at 2:44 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024. His funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Fairbury. Cremation will be accorded following the service with burial at a later date in Avoca Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2024, also at the First Baptist Church, Fairbury and 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to American Baptist Men Disaster Relief, CO Jonathan Ellison, 5000 N. Endres Ave, Peoria, IL, 61614, Shriners Hospital, Chicago, or Futures Unlimited, Pontiac. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, is in charge of arrangements. Everett was born July 9, 1942, in Fairbury, the son of Edward and Pearl (Friedman) Meister.
