Ruth Ann Luttrell January 20, 1945 - May 13, 2024 FAIRBURY - Ruth Ann Luttrell, 79, of Fairbury, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in-charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. A private funeral service will follow. Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to SELCAS (South East Livingston County Ambulance Service), or to the American Heart Association. Ruth was born in Fairbury on January 20, 1945, the daughter of Roy and Aldine (Nagel) Hakes. She married Cuthfurd Whittle on June 16, 1967, in Bloomington. He preceded her in death in 1998. She later married John Luttrell on January 23, 2009. John preceded her in death on May 8, 2022. Ruth is survived by her siblings: Richard Hakes, of Fairbury, and Larry Hakes, of Normal.
