Walter Dennis Edelman August 2, 1948 - April 30, 2024 FAIRBURY - Walter Dennis Edelman, 75, Fairbury, died at 5:54 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at his residence, Fairbury. His funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury, with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in the South Apostolic Christian Cemetery, rural Fairbury with full military rites accorded by the Fairbury VFW and American Legion posts. Visitation will be 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, and 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. Friday at the church. The family suggests memorials be given to Southeast Livingston County Ambulance Service (SELCAS), or the charity of the donor's choice. Walter was born August 2, 1948, in Sabetha, KS, the son of Levi Edelman Sr. and Lena Lehman. He married Rosetta June Walter on April 11, 1970, in Fairbury, IL. She survives in Fairbury.
